We are looking for a Reservoir and Production Staff
Qatargas Operating Company has exciting opportunities available for qualified professionals to join our company in the development of the vast North Field in Qatar. Qatargas currently has under development over $20 billion worth of major projects, including the construction of four new Liquefied Natural Gas trains for the production and export of LNG to every corner of the globe.
Senior Reservoir Engineer
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Petroleum or Natural gas Engineering; 10-15 years experience in reservoir engineering work, including studies, good back ground in reservoir related software (PROSPER, SAPHIR, ECLIPSE, PVTSIM, etc.); using computer and mathematical simulation methods and database systems. Fluent written and spoken English.
Petroleum Data Analyst
Requirements: Bachelor degree in Petroleum, Geosciences, Computer Science; 8-10 years E & P experience in the oil and/or gas industry out of that 2 years experience in E & P domains such as well engineering, well intervention, monitoring and optimization, drilling and reservoir/geosciences. Excellent knowledge, training and work experience of computer programming and MS-Office Macros. Experience in use of programming language to achieve automation in various Production and Reservoir Engineering applications. Knowledge and experience of handling technical Software and Operating systems- PipeSim, PROSPER, GAP, MBAL, Oil Field Manager (OFM), Eclipse, Saphir, GEOFRAME, Petrel, Digitizing maps, MERAK Peep, Document management system, Oracle based data base, UNIX, LINUX, Windows NT etc. Responsible for developing and maintaining tailor-made software for Qatargas E & P specific needs. Good knowledge, training and work experience in data modeling, development of data models, implementation administration of model to develop relational database on MS-ACCESS, Oracle MS-SQL or others. Experience and knowledge of hardware architectures and networking protocols is essential. Fluent written and spoken English.
Well Operations Specialist
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Petroleum or Natural Gas Engineering; 5-10 years experience in well operations in high-pressure sour gas environment. Expert in down-hole equipment, slick line, Completion, logging and well maintenance. Good knowledge of drilling operations and SIMOPS. Should have extensive training and knowledge in Safety procedures and standards. Must be capable of leading a team of professional and able to work under duress. He must be in excellent health to work in the harsh offshore/onshore environment. Good Computer proficiency, familiar with SAP and good back ground in Production related software (PROSPER, WEM, etc). Fluent written and spoken English.
Senior Production Performance Engineer
Requirements: Bachelor of Science/Technology in Petroleum Engineering; 10-15 years experience in production operations, planning, management, optimization as well as familiarity with well engineering and reservoir engineering essentials in oil and gas industry. Good background in production technology, petroleum engineering applications and tools for production optimization, planning and forecasting such as OFM, PROSPER, GAP, MBAL, MS Project, NODAL Analysis, PIPESIM, Back allocation software. Computer literacy essential; using computer and advanced excel, micros, Visual Basics and handling data through database systems. Good written and spoken English.
