POSTDOCTORAL EXPERIMENTAL HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS

We have an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research associate in experimental particle physics at Florida State University. Our group has a major involvement in the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron and in the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC. The successful candidate will work primarily on CMS and be involved in HCAL prompt analysis and possibly one or more of the following projects: data quality monitoring, offline calorimeter reconstruction, simulation, and data shifts. We also expect the candidate to play a leading role in early CMS physics analyses and publications.

A Ph.D. in experimental particle physics is required.
