Facilities Engineers

Your main Job function and Key responsibility areas are:





Provide insight to the Business Units in surface facilities: wellhead fluid gathering, crude oil treatment, gas conditioning and processing, and product transportation, in an onshore/offshore environment, including evaluation of new ventures and projects





Review and approve the specification, design, and supply (by contractors) of process (static, dynamics) equipment and piping in onshore/offshore production facilities, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practices for safety, reliability and cost





Prepare process concept definition, being involved in preliminary studies, conceptual and basic design, FEED, construction, installation, hook up, commissioning and start up of surface facilities from the project planning through execution, in close liaison with the project manager





Evaluating contractor proposals for Technical Studies, FEED and EPC. Execute the project monitoring





Handle internal interfaces with HSE, Planning, QA/QC Organizations and Business Units, as well as the external interfaces with engineering companies, services specialists, partners and others





Required Specific Knowledge and Technical Skills are:



Production System Design, Oil & Gas Processes & Facilities, Life cycle design, Production system engineering



Utilities Design, Mechanical Design, Piping Design, Cryogenic Plants Design, Water Injection Plants, Revamping and Upgrading Plants, Contractor's Documentation



Project management process, cost estimation, economics, contracting, technical specifications and bidding, technical audits and design reviews.



Construction & Installation, Offshore Installation Supervision, Inspection, control and testing techniques



Local/National and International Standard and Codes, Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Tender procedure, Health of Site Management, Agreement





Education and qualifications:

Engineering Degree/Diploma in Process, Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
*
Fluent knowledge of English
*
Fluent in Spanish will be an asset
*
Minimum 10 years of Oil and Gas experience
