PFARL PROJECT - BHP Billiton is currently undertaking a study to determine the feasibility
of developing a significant laterite nickel deposit in Eastern Indonesia. The opportunity
would involve the construction of world-class mining facilities, a process plant and
associated infrastructure.

LAND COMPENSATION SPECIALIST

Develop strategies and action plans for the acquisition of land, in accordance with
government regulations and project management timelines. Achieving win-win solutions
and local community benefits will require you to apply your proven conflict resolution
skills to negotiating constructively with land owners.

Significant experience in land compensation, including expertise in negotiating with
relevant communities, is essential. This will be complemented by your tertiary
qualifications and understanding of the communities in Eastern Indonesia.

SECURITY MANAGER

With an eye on managing security operations across multiple locations, you will be
expected to establish and implement security policies and remedial actions, build your
team, lead all security personnel and manage their performance.

A proven leader, you will have a Police/Military/Security background within a multi-
national or resources environment and extensive experience providing residential security
for expatriates and potential risk areas.

SENIOR AREA ENGINEERS

Support our Area Managers in achieving objectives, procedures, budgets and schedules.
This will involve you in assuming responsibility for implementing Quality Assurance
procedures and project systems that will facilitate the successful achievement of project
schedule and cost requirements.

Tertiary qualified in Civil/Structural, Electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineering, you
must also have significant experience within an engineering, construction or project
management environment.

SENIOR MINING ENGINEER

Take responsibility for identifying mine design options in this nickel laterite development,
with a view to developing an optimised mine plan and extraction sequence, thereby
contributing to the project execution definition.

Extensive experience as a Senior Mining Engineer, a background in large scale
development projects and involvement with Nickel are all essential.
