Senior Mining Engineer

PT BRITMINDO is an established professional Mining company providing services that include Mine Development, Mine Management, Operational Improvements, Technical Studies and Consultancy to the leading Indonesian mining companies.

Our team includes qualified expatriate and Indonesian mining engineers, geologists and other key disciplines who work at both our Jakarta Head office and various site locations throughout Indonesia.

As part of our business expansion Britmindo is working in a Joint venture to develop contract mining business. Our partner requires a Jakarta Based Senior Mining Engineer.

Reporting to President Director to provide the following :
• Technical support to the operation.
• Monitor equipment performance.
• Develop and maintain control cost reporting system.
• Provide back up to the site based personnel.
• Review daily production and ensure compliance with mine planning.

Requirements:
• Recognized mining engineering qualifications.
• Minimum 5 years practical operating in industrial experience and a combination of mining and construction industries in the similar role.
• A working knowledge of Minescape mine planning software will be advantage.
• Planning experience up to Supervisory/Superintendent Level in mining contractors.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English.
• Computer literate.
• Be an efficient, honest, team player, with analytical skills, attention to detail and quality, be persistent and systems oriented.
